Preliminary Itinerary
Day 1 – SAN FRANCISCO (Depart 4:00pm)
Transfer from Pleasanton to San Francisco. Board the SEA PRINCESS. Locate your stateroom while you become familiar with the ship. Meet your cabin steward. Depart through the beautiful Golden Gate Bridge, one of the most recognizable landmarks in the world.
Day 2 – AT SEA
Day 3 – VICTORIA, B.C. (12:00pm – 6:00pm)
The capital of British Columbia is also its largest island. British culture and island informality collide in Victoria, where you’re never far from someplace new to explore. Set on the southeastern tip of Vancouver Island, this sophisticated seaside city is full of historic sites, parks and gardens.
Day 4 – AT SEA
Day 5 – JUNEAU (1:00pm – 10:00pm)
Perched on a thin strip of land at the mouth of Gold Creek, Juneau is arguably one of America’s most beautiful state capitals, with the looming summits of Mt. Juneau and Mt. Roberts. There is so much to do and see here that Princess offers no less than 30 different excursions in and around Juneau - including the chance to walk on a glacier.
Day 6 – SKAGWAY (7:00am – 6:00pm)
Few one-time boomtowns retain the flavor of the Gold Rush days like Skagway. This "Gateway to the Klondike" is preserved as a National Historic Park and features one of the oldest narrow-gauge railroads in existence. Step back in time and stroll the wooden boardwalks of this historic town.
Day 7 – GLACIER Bay (scenic cruising – 6:00am – 3:00pm)
The icy wilderness of this spectacular National park and preserve displays massive glaciers that stretch from the ice-draped St. Elias and Fairweather mountain ranges to the ends of majestic fjords. The park is also home to a spectacular world of marine life, including humpback whales, sea otters, porpoises, and harbor seals.
Day 8 – KETCHIKAN (9:00am - 4:00pm)
Ketchikan is as picturesque as they come. The town is built on pilings out of the water and clings to the slopes of Deer Mountain. Explore by kayak for a different perspective on Southeast Alaska’s First City.
DAY 9 – AT Sea
Day 10 – AT Sea
Relax and take advantage of this final day of cruising to experience the shipboard amenities you've missed, or re-visit your favorites.
Day 11 – SAN Francisco (arrive 7:00am)
Visit with new friends as the SEA PRINCESS sails under the Golden Gate Bridge and returns to
San Francisco Bay.
The beautiful SEA PRINCESS is an oasis of refined pleasures and relaxing pursuits. You’ll enjoy the choice of Traditional and Anytime Dining in the Traviata or Rigoletto dining rooms or specialty dining in the Sterling Steakhouse. Activities and amenities include swanky bars and lounges, enrichment courses, fine shopping, a youth center, the Lotus Spa and the sensational Movies Under the Stars. For a more personal view of the incredible destinations you’ll be visiting, choose one of over 400 affordable balcony staterooms- where you may just want to try Ultimate Balcony Dining when the mood strikes for something truly extraordinary.
