	Ambassadors The Pleasanton Chamber Ambassador Committee is the public relations arm of the Chamber. Ambassadors are involved in membership development through recruitment and retention programs, including ribbon cuttings and attendance at mixers and luncheons. Meetings are held at the Chamber office on the 1st Thursday of each month at 8:00 am. 	Economic Development The Economic Development Committee discusses the issues affecting the immediate and long-term economic climate in Pleasanton and the Tri-Valley area. This committee meets the fourth Thursday of each month at the Chamber office, 7:30 am. 	Events Committee The Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce Events Committees are formed to help keep our events fresh and unique! There are a variety of committee opportunities: Community Service Awards/Annual Dinner, Staff Appreciation and Golf Outing. 	Government Relations The Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce is committed to making sure those government officials at the federal, state and local levels are aware of the concerns of the business community. If you are interested in government affairs, we encourage you to join the Government Relations Committee (GRC) meetings at 7:30 a.m. the second Wednesday of each month at the Chamber office. 	Networking Group Pleasanton Chamber Networking Forum : Working together to build business success. A Chamber-sanctioned networking organization, this networking forum's objective is to promote and refer member companies to the community and to support business development through the exchange of business information and practices. Members are committed to doing business with other members whenever possible and to supporting each other's efforts to grow their businesses. The membership consists of one representative from each member company and one member company for each trade or profession. Business categories are filled on a non-compete basis.
