The Pleasanton
Senior Center offers a wide variety of drop-in activities. Enrichment
classes include: exercise, line dance, arts & crafts, book
group, cooking, cards & games, VIP Club meetings, trip programs,
volunteer opportunities and special events.
The Senior Center also offers a Senior Nutrition Meals Program
(Snappy Café) on site. Home-delivered meals are available
for qualifying homebound adults age 60 and over. |

| The City
encourages the construction of affordable rental housing through
its Growth Management Program (GMP) by allowing special consideration
for projects, which provide units at below-market rent levels.
Approximately 750 below-market rental (BMR) apartment units
have been built under Pleasanton's GMP since the mid-1980's.
