The Community Service Awards began in 1963 to recognize good people doing great things in the community and since then hundreds of recipients have been honored.\n\n\n\nThe honorees for the 57th Annual Community Service Awards are:\n\nBusiness Philanthropy UNCLE CREDIT UNION\n\nChevron Fuel Your School Teacher Award JONATHAN GRANTHAM\n\nDistinguished Individual Service BERNIE BILLEN\n\nExcellence in Business BUMBLEBEE MARKETING SERVICES\n\nExcellence in Service SPECTRUM COMMUNITY SERVICES\n\nGreen Business EAST BAY REGIONAL PARK DISTRICT\n\nLifetime Achievement VIC MALATESTA\n\n\n\nThe Chamber is also pleased to announce the continued partnership with Chevron for the Fuel Your School Teacher Award\, presented to a teacher in the Pleasanton Unified School District. Chevron's Fuel Your School program is available to help fund classroom projects posted by K-12 public school teachers on DonorsChoose.org. The Fuel Your School program is part of Chevron's overall support for education\, which has totaled over $400 million worldwide since 2013\, helping to provide teachers with the tools to prepare students for the jobs of the future.\n\n\n\nThis event\, sponsored by the Agape Villages\, Amos Productions\, Black Tie Transportation\, Cellar Door\, Chevron\, Golden 1 Credit Union. Moving Perceptions\, Primrose Bakery\, Ritter Investments\, Strizzi's Catering and United Business Bank will celebrate amazing people who go the extra mile to make Pleasanton a fabulous place to live and do business. The public is invited to attend this fun-filled evening beginning at 6:00 p.m. with a hosted bar and heavy hors' doeuvres in the wonderful setting of the Firehouse Arts Center followed by the awards presentation inside the theater.
