About Us

Assistance League® of Amador Valley's philanthropic programs reach more than 4,000 recipients in the Tri-Valley each year. Our largest program, Operation School Bell®, annually clothes approximately 400 school children in need. We also screen preschoolers for vision impairments (606 children last year), and provide activities, magazines, and social connections to seniors. We purchase books and activities for foster children and create ''birthday in a bag'' for children in domestic violence and homeless shelters. We also partner with a local food pantry to provide food bi-monthly to families in need. With all these programs, our 90+ members donate over 9,000 hours in the community annually.

We clothe over 400 elementary school children every year in the Tri-Valley.
New clothes can boost a young child's self-esteem and confidence in school.
Our members plan engaging social activities for seniors at Pleasanton Rehab and Nursing.
