Each election cycle, the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce's Business and Community Political Action Committee (BACPAC) reviews candidates in the races that matter most to our community. For the 2026 General Election, that review included a candidate questionnaire and in-person interviews, and BACPAC's recommendations reflect the committee's judgment of who is best suited for each role.
BACPAC's recommendations were approved by the Chamber's Board of Directors, and the endorsed candidates for Mayor, City Council Districts 1 and 3, and Pleasanton Unified School District Board of Trustees, Area 5, are listed below.
